Teen-ager robbed of quilted jacket

A 13-year-old boy was robbed of his jacket Friday afternoon in front of a grocery store in Pasadena.

Police said Michael Daniel Hammer, of the first block of Johnson Road, was slightly injured during the scuffle that occurred sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in front of the Mars Supermarket at Pine Grove Plaza.

The two older teens, between 16 and 18, approached Michael, pushed him into a grocery cart barrier and a bench and demanded his blue flannel quilted jacket.

The victim gave the older teens the jacket after being pushed to the ground, police said. The boy suffered a small cut, but did not require medical attention.
