Here's what to look for if you are traveling in the Baltimore metropolitan area this week. This list of highway projects includes only newly announced work, not continuing vTC construction, which is extensive on several highways, including Interstate 95, U.S. 50/301 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

New highway projects

I-695 East-side Inner and Outer Loop -- Expect delays and single lane closures during bridge construction between Belair Road and Perring Parkway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. tomorrow through Friday. Two lanes may be closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Route 147 (Harford Road) and Putty Hill Avenue -- In this intersection there will be an installation of a water line from Tuesday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Flagmen will direct traffic. There will be no lane closures.

I-695 Inner and Outer Loop -- Expect single and double lane closures tomorrow through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. between U.S. 40 and Route 26.

U.S 50/301 -- Expect lane closures and traffic pattern shifts between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Friday on eastbound and westbound lanes between the Patuxent River and I-97.

U.S 50/Route 424 -- Expect lane closures and traffic pattern shifts on U.S. 50 between 11 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday for work on Davidsonville Road Bridges.

Bus route changes:

The MTA has scheduled the following bus route changes for this week. Information: 539-5000; TTY for the hearing-impaired, 539-3497.

Temporary routes

Nos. 7, 10, 19 -- Effective until further notice, these bus lines will be temporarily rerouted because of construction work on Lombard Street between Market and Hopkins places: Northbound Nos. 7 and 10 lines will travel regular route to Central Avenue, north on Central, west on Fayette Street, north on Howard Street (No. 10 only) or north on Paca Street (No. 7 only), then via regular route. Northbound buses on the No. 7 line that serve President Street will travel regular route on President Street to Lombard Street, north on President, west on Fayette, north on Paca, the via regular route. Southbound buses on the No. 19 line will travel regular route on Guilford Avenue to Fayette Street, west on Fayette, north on Howard, then via regular route.
