Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5101 S. Church St. in Lineboro, will have Sunday school for all ages at 9 a.m. Sunday. Morning service will begin at 9:45 a.m. when the Gospel Gang presents a play, "Thanksgiving at Plymouth."

The first candle in Advent, the "Candle of Expectation," will be lighted by the Donnan family.

The morning message, "Live in Anticipation," will be delivered by the Rev. Verna Call. Holy Communion will be celebrated during the morning worship.

The Sunday school and the church are collecting stocking gifts for needy children in Garrett County through the Appalachian Project. Canned food and vegetables are being collected at the church for the North East Social Action Program and Carroll County Neighbors in Need.
