Interfaith family program planned EAST COLUMBIA

"Raising Children in an Interfaith Family" is the topic of a program at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center.

Rabbi Kenneth L. Cohen and Rabbi Mark J. Panoff will co-lead the group with Beth Land Hecht. The program will address the feelings and needs of Jewish and non-Jewish parents and of children in an interfaith family and issues related to the Hanukkah and Christmas holidays.

A joint venture of the Baltimore Board of Rabbis and Jewish Family Services, the program comes to Columbia with the support of the Jewish Federation of Howard County and Temple Beth Shalom and Temple Isaiah.

Registration by Monday is required. The cost is $5 per family.
