Pistons release ex-Bullet Walker

DETROIT -- The Detroit Pistons did the cutting yesterday, but guard Darrell Walker did the slashing.

After player personnel director Billy McKinney told him he had been waived, Walker unloaded on first year coach Ron Rothstein.

"He was too gutless to tell me himself," said Walker, acquired last year in a trade with Washington.
