POLICE LOG

* Elkridge: 6600 block of Aspern Way: A handgun, no value given, was stolen from a house between Friday evening and Saturday morning.

* 6200 block Stratford Court: A range, no value given, was stolen from a house under construction between Thursday and Friday.

Ellicott City: 2900 block of St. Johns Lane: Jewelry and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen from a house on Sunday.

* 3200 block of Normandy Woods Drive: David Lee Jacobs, 18, of Baltimore was arrested after allegedly stealing a 1986 Pontiac Trans Am Saturday night, police said.

The suspect was arrested after police chased him in the vehicle.

* 9000 block of Baltimore National Pike: Five tires worth $275 were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Miller Brothers Chevrolet dealership between Friday and Saturday.

* 10300 block of Royal Ascot: Stereo equipment, cassette tapes, a pellet gun and clothing, worth $1,110, were stolen from a Honda Prelude Sunday.

* 3200 block of East Wheaton Way: A videocassette recorder, no value given, was stolen from a house on Friday.
