Food To Be Distributed

From Dec. 8 to Dec. 18, surplus federal food will be distributed at 10 Baltimore County sites to eligible county residents who have a food identification card or some other proof of residency and low income.

Peanut butter, canned pork, corn meal, green beans and butter are among the foods that will be distributed. The sites will open at 8:30 a.m. and will give out food until their stocks are depleted. The Parkton American Legion Post at 19520 York Road will distribute food between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dec. 18.

The other sites and dates are:

* On Dec. 8, the county government building at Wise Avenue and Merritt Boulevard in Dundalk,

* On Dec. 9, St. Luke's Church at 7517 North Point Road in Edgemere.

* On Dec. 10, Knights of Columbus Hall at 1707 Eastern Blvd. in Essex.

* On Dec. 11, Victory Villa Community Center at 404 Compass Road in Middle River.

* On Dec. 14, Banneker Community Building at Main and Wesley avenues in Catonsville.

* On Dec. 15, Hiss United Methodist Church in the 8700 block of Harford Road in Parkville.

* On Dec. 16, St. Clements Church at Washington and Second avenues in Lansdowne.

* On Dec. 17, Baltimore County Liberty Family Resource Center at Liberty Road and Brenbrook Drive in Randallstown;

* On Dec. 18, Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church at 10911 Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills.
