Traffic signal set for Nursery Road
The State Highway Administration will install a traffic signal this month at Nursery Road and Fairview Avenue.
The signal should help ease the increased traffic entering and leaving Nursery Road. Workers will intermittently close lanes during off-peak traffic hours, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Flag men and arrow boards will direct motorists around closed lanes. The SHA expects little impact on traffic while workers install the signal.
The SHA awarded the $42,000 contract to Baldwin Line Construction of Maryland, Inc. Work should be completed by the end of the year.
