Association seeks 20 teens to serve as ambassadors

The Columbia Association is seeking 20 teens between the ages of 15 and 17 to serve as Columbia's goodwill ambassadors vTC to its oldest sister city, Cergy-Pontoise in France, and its newest sister city, Tres Cantos in Spain.

The students will spend two weeks during the summer with host families. Students will then play host to students from Cergy-Pontoise or Tres Cantos.

Prospective ambassadors must have had at least two years of French or Spanish study.

The cost will be approximately $950 and includes airfare and the program fee. Limited financial assistance is available.

Students must apply by Jan. 15. A screening committee will select students in February.
