Two teen-agers charged in car, motorcycle thefts

County police have charged a Baltimore man and a 17-year-old girl with felony theft after police allegedly caught them in Baltimore with a stolen car and a motorcycle.

According to the police report, officers on patrol early Wednesday saw a Honda Prelude and a motorcycle being driven erratically on Ritchie Highway near Church Street in Brooklyn Park. Officers tried to stop both vehicles, but the drivers would not pull over.

After a short chase into the city, the girl, who was driving the Honda, lost control and crashed into an electrical pole, police said.

The driver of the motorcycle, Norman Gene Morral, 19, of 3600 block of 6th St., later stopped for officers.

Police say the man admitted taking both vehicles.

Woman fails to pay cabbie, is charged

A 55-year-old Arnold woman was charged with failing to pay a cab driver in Ferndale Wednesday, county police reported.

According to officers, Donna M. Duszywski, of the 100 block of Dividing Court, had a cab driver drive her from from Baltimore-Washington International Airport to several gas stations where she made phone calls at a pay phone. When they arrived at the Ferndale Amoco in the 7200 block of B&A Blvd. at 10:20 a.m., she allegedly refused to pay him the fare of $13.30.

Ms. Duszywski was taken to Northern District station to be charged.
