Puppy is missing from Severna Park home

A 4-month-old dog worth $700 was reported stolen from the back yard of a Severna Park home Friday.

Police say the all-white Samoyed named Lacy was taken between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. from the house in the 100 block of Idlewilde Road in Arnold.

The owner of the dog, Douglas P. McGettisan, 29, told police that whoever took the dog had to move two logs and lift the latch on the gate to get to the animal.
