Parents can observe their children in public schools this 0) week

Public schools in Pasadena have invited parents to observe their children working and learning this week as part of American Education Week.

Each school has scheduled visitations to help ease congestion, and all have asked parents to leave younger children at home to avoid distractions. If you plan on visiting a high school or middle school, bring a copy of your child's class schedule.

* Chesapeake Bay Middle School: Open house by grade level. Visit eighth-grade classes today. Parents should park in the lower lot and stopy the B-side office to register.

L * Pasadena Elementary: Visit from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

* George Fox Middle School: Parents may visit today at times determined by grade level. Sixth-grade classes are open from 10:49 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; seventh- and eighth-grade classes from 7:52 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.

* Riviera Beach Elementary: Parents may visit from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today.

* Solley Elementary: Visit from 12:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. today.

POLICE

* Pasadena: Someone cut the lock off a shed door in the 1900 block of Main Ave. on Sunday and stole power tools and an outboard motor worth $1,300.

* Pasadena: Police are looking for the person who broke into a home in the 1800 block of Fox Hollow Run between Tuesday and pTC Saturday and stole tools and a lawn mower worth $945.
