'Bikes for Kids' campaign will recycle old bicycles for needy children
Columbia Management is sponsoring a "Bikes for Kids" campaign to give reconditioned bikes to needy children for Christmas.
Used bicycles may be dropped off Saturday and Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., next to the Maryland National Bank in the Harper's Choice village center.
Bikes will be repaired by Bryan Chaney, owner of the Bikemobile. There will also be a raffle for a new bike. The fee is $1.

* Harper's Choice: 5400 block of Cedar Lane: Someone broke into a 1981 Toyota Corolla between Saturday and Monday and stole a $60 Goodyear tire and two windshield wipers valued at $5.
* Town Center: 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: Someone stole a bank bag from a counter in the Sunglass Hut Monday. The bag held bank checks of $35.38 and $62.99.
* Wilde Lake: 520 block of Brook Way: Someone threw two stones through a side ground-floor window of a town house Monday.
