Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- Two men were shot early Wednesday near the corner of South Pulaski and Hollins streets by unknown gunmen. Robert Harrison, 32, of the 1000 block of Stamford Road, sustained a minor head wound and was listed in stable condition at Bon Secours Hospital. Mr. Harrison was in the 2100 block of Hollins St. shortly after midnight when he heard gunshots and then felt a pain in his head. He walked to the hospital. The second victim, Stephen Mangun, 29, of the 2000 block of Hollins St., was standing at a bus stop near the intersection when he was shot in the right leg. Mr. Mangun walked home and reported the incident. He was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- A radio valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a car while it was parked in the 3300 block of Frederick Ave. Tuesday morning.

STABBING: Southwestern District -- Junior Gordon, 27, of the 3000 block of W. North Ave., was stabbed in the left shoulder by another man near his home about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was treated at Liberty Medical Center.

STABBING: Southwestern District -- Reco Johnson, 19, of the 3200 block of Elmora Ave., was stabbed in the upper right leg Tuesday morning in the 200 block of S. Monastery Ave. He was treated at St. Agnes Hospital and held for observation.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone stole an AM-FM cassette radio from a 1992 Honda in the 700 block of Glenallen Drive Tuesday morning.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $1,300 was stolen from a house in the 2200 block of Rosedale St. Tuesday by someone who entered through a rear door.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $200 was stolen from the Walter P. Carter Treatment Center in the 3400 block of Benson Ave. near St. Agnes Hospital between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone stole property valued at nearly $2,400 from a house in the 4500 block of Cedargarden Road Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man walking from a 24-hour automatic teller machine in the 3200 block of W. North Ave. Tuesday was pushed to the sidewalk by a man who robbed him of $20 and his bank card.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $1,200 was stolen from a car Tuesday in the 4600 block of Old Frederick Road.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a resident of the 1400 block of McHenry St. of a gold chain Tuesday morning in the 300 block of S. Norris St.

ROBBERY TRY: Southern District -- The occupant of a house in the 2300 block of Sidney Ave. fired a shotgun, scaring off two men, one with a gun, who had broken into his house about 10 p.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported, and nothing was stolen.

THEFT: Central District -- Stereo equipment valued at $160 was stolen early Wednesday from a 1978 Plymouth while the vehicle was parked in the first block of Holliday St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Three boys between 13 and 15 were being sought in connection with breaking into the Mrs. Ihrie's potato chip company in the first block of N. Smallwood St. Monday and stealing a large quantity of potato chips, pork rinds and popcorn from a delivery truck.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- A man removing a storm door and windows from a vacant, city-owned house in the 2300 block of Avalon Ave. was arrested by police Monday morning.

THEFT: Western District -- A chandelier valued at more than $2,000 was stolen from the ceiling of the Beth Am synagogue in the 2500 block of Eutaw Place. The theft occurred several months ago, but was not reported until this week.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman Tuesday who attempted to leave the Farm Fresh food store in the 1400 block of N. Monroe St. without paying for two bottles of skin ointment.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A deliveryman for Winner Distributing Co. was robbed of his wallet containing $140 Tuesday by a gunman in the 600 block of N. Fulton Ave. The gunman also forced the driver to give up more than $800 of the company's money.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with an unknown weapon, robbed Allen's food market in the 2100 block of W. Lexington St. Tuesday night of $30.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A VCR and a compact disc player valued at more than $1,000 were stolen from a house in the 200 block of N. Carey St. Tuesday.

Baltimore County

SHOOTING: Towson District -- Eugene Smith, 49, of the 5500 block of Stonington Ave., Northwest Baltimore, was accidentally shot in the right thigh Tuesday night while fishing with a friend at Lake Roland in the Robert E. Lee Memorial Park. Mr. Smith was putting a plastic bag containing a .22-caliber handgun in his back pocket about 8 p.m. when the bag fell to the ground. The gun fired. He was treated at Sinai Hospital. The gun belonged to a friend who was fishing with Mr. Smith.
