* Ellicott City: 4300 block of Centennial Lane: Someone smashed a passenger window to a 1988 Mitsubishi Tuesday or Wednesday, and stole a $250 Clarion AM-FM radio cassette player, a $290 Boston Acoustics and a $100 rear deck blue carpet.

* 2700 block of Turf Valley Road: Someone removed a $20 tan metal cash box from the Turf Valley Gift Shop Friday and stole $700 in cash and $300 in credit card receipts.

* 9600 block of Ashmeade Drive: Two juveniles opened a window while a juvenile resident they knew was home Saturday. Nothing was taken.

* Elkridge: 6600 block of Grouse Road: Someone unscrewed a motion detector spot lamp between Friday and Saturday. The sliding door may have been lifted from the track. Compact discs, a trash basket and coins were taken.

* 6000 block of Adcock Lane: Someone entered a window to a house under construction between Thursday and Friday and took a dishwasher.

* 6100 block of Arrowood Court: Someone forced open a door and stole a dishwasher between Thursday and Friday.

* 5900 block of Railroad Ave.: A 1986 Pontiac 6000 was stolen from a MARC station parking lot on Thursday. The Maryland plates are NC5968.
