AACC foundation re-elects top officers CENTRAL COUNTY -- Arnold * Broadneck * Severna Park * Crownsville * Millersville

The Anne Arundel Community College Foundation Inc. board of directors has re-elected A. Newth Morris III of Glen Burnie as president and Kathy Marx of Davidsonville as vice president.

Marge Teel of Annapolis was appointed secretary.

The board also confirmed three-year terms for four members and increased membership to 39.

Serving their second three-year terms are H. Stafford Bullen Jr. of Annapolis, Richard Gillespie of Millersville, David B. Hoffberger of Annapolis and Jeffrey H. Koenig of Gambrills.

The new board members are Robert C. Baldwin of Millersville, Lysbeth Courtney of Severna Park, George Cromwell of Glen Burnie, Kathy Dahl of Annapolis, John E. Demyan of Glen Burnie, Margaret Ellis of Annapolis, Gilbert L. Hardesty of Annapolis, Katherine S. McGuirk of Glen Burnie, Terry C. Smith of Linthicum and Ron Thomas of Glen Burnie.

Continuing officers are Treasurer Edgar Mallick, college vice president for administration, planning and college relations; and Executive Director Augustine W. Pounds, college vice president for student services, college development and intercollegiate athletics. College President Thomas E. Florestano serves as an ex-officio board member.

The foundation raises money for college scholarships, faculty development and equipment acquisition.
