Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 900 block of Franklin St. was in the 300 block of N. Schroeder St. Wednesday morning when she was robbed of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $170, by a man who approached her from the rear.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man Wednesday afternoon who attempted to leave the Super Pride food store in the 2000 block of W. Lafayette Ave. without paying for more than $16 worth of crab meat and shrimp.

THEFT: Western District -- Tools valued at more than $600 were stolen from a car Wednesday while it was parked in the 2200 block of Warwick Ave.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into Nick and John's carryout in the 1600 block of Union Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday through a rear door and stole an undisclosed sum of money.

THEFT: Northern District -- A tennis racket valued at $100 was stolen from a car Wednesday morning while it was parked in the 300 block of Oakdale Road.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a 1989 Oldsmobile in the 4600 block of Winslow Road Wedneday by forcing a door and stole property valued at more than $1,000.

THEFT: Northern District -- Two cars were broken into Wednesday while parked in the 4500 block of Keswick Road. Taken from a 1992 Ford were cassette tapes valued at $60. From the second car, the thief stole a set of field glasses valued at $80.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A console telephone valued at $100 was stolen between Nov. 6 and Wednesday from the Sports Medicine Center at Union Memorial Hospital in the 200 block of E. University Parkway.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke into a van owned by a resident of the 2200 block of Poplar Road while it was parked in the 3700 block of Greenway Wednesday and stole a cordless drill, a drill box and several drill bits, all valued at more than $300.

THEFT: Northern District -- A cellular phone valued at $300 was stolen from the glove box of a 1984 Honda Tuesday while the car was parked in the 3700 block of Falls Road.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- An 83-year-old resident of the 300 block of Suffolk Road was robbed of her purse Wednesday evening while walking near her home by a man who walked up from behind. The purse contained cash and property, all valued at $116.

CUTTING: Northern District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Edgecombe Circle N. was cut on the left wrist Wednesday night during an argument with another man in the 2600 block of Edgecombe Circle N. the armed man escaped and the victim was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment and released.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- An Essex man was robbed

of his money and watch Wednesday afternoon at the Golden Ring Mall in the 6400 block of Rossville Blvd. by two men, one armed with a knife and another who implied he was armed with a handgun. The two men escaped by running down a flight of stairs and then outo the parking lot.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Two men, a resident of the 3600 block of Paskin Place in Baltimore County, and a resident of the 2700 block of Elsinore Ave. in the city, were robbed of their pagers early Wednesday morning in the 8500 block of Glenmichael Lane by two gunmen. The pagers were valued at nearly $340.
