* Ellicott City: 2500 block of Ashbrook Road: A video camera and jewelry were taken Monday. There were no signs of forced entry.

9400 block of Old Frederick Road: A 1985 Pontiac Trans Am was taken from Mount Hebron High School's parking lot Monday. Later in the day, the Trans Am was returned, but its stereo had been removed. The ignition had been popped.

8900 block of Town and Country Boulevard: A gold 1989 Ford Probe was stolen Sunday. The Maryland plates are 759-ANM.

8500 block of Mary Land Ave.: Someone slashed the back of a convertible top to a 1990 Mazda Miata Monday and took a $900 car telephone.

9400 block of Route 99: A slim jim was used to gain entry to a 1984 Chevrolet Camaro on Thursday. Once inside, the intruder stole a $300 Kenwood AM-FM cassette player and a $150 amplifier.

3200 block of Bethany Lane: Four tires were stolen from a 1983 Toyota Corolla parked at Eakle's Auto Care on Nov. 4 or 5.

3700 block of St. Paul St.: A $350 Alpine AM-FM cassette player and $85 Cobra CB radio were stolen from a 1986 Ford F-150 truck on Sunday or Monday.

3700 block of St. Paul St.: Someone smashed a window to an apartment on Saturday or Sunday and stole a spare set of keys to the apartment.

9300 block of Tiller Drive: Someone drove a vehicle across a lawn on Nov. 5 or 6, leaving ruts in the yard.

9000 block of Dunloggin Road: A car owner arrived home and found the doors to her Honda Civic unlocked and its light on Saturday.
