Baltimore City

SHOOTINGS: Southern District -- A gunman shot two men in the 1300 block of Carroll St. early Wednesday after fruitlessly searching them for drugs and cash. A resident of the 1400 block of Ward St. was shot in the right foot and was being held for observation at the University of Maryland Medical Center. The other man, a resident of the 1300 block of Carroll St., was treated for a graze-wound to the right side and released.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A couple was robbed Monday evening in the 100 block of E. Baltimore St. by two men, one with a 9mm gun. From the man, the robbers took jewelry and clothing, all valued at $720. From the woman, they took $54.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Central District -- Two teen-age boys were arrested Monday and charged as juveniles with stealing property valued at nearly $18 from Sam Goody's in the 200 block of E. Pratt St.

THEFT: Central District -- Someone entered the Disney store in the 200 block of E. Pratt St. Monday and stole a custom-made Mickey Mouse hat valued at $77.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A woman was robbed of $15 in quarters when a man forced his way inside her house in the first block of E. Madison St. Monday night after she answered his knock at the door.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a resident of the 400 block of Laurens St. of $23 and $160 in food stamps Monday night in the 1700 block of Druid Hill Ave.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A man with a knife robbed Icebreakers, a bar in the 100 block of W. North Ave., of nearly $100 Monday night.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men robbed a woman of cash and property valued at $222 Monday night inside an elevator of a high-rise apartment building in the 900 block of Argyle Ave.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men were being sought in connection with the $90 robbery of a resident of the 500 block of Robert St. near his home Tuesday morning.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2200 block of W. North Ave. was robbed of $27 by two men, one with a gun, while she drove in the 2400 block of N. Pulaski St. Tuesday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man stole a purse containing cash and property, all valued at $350, from a woman in the 1700 block of N. Fulton Ave. Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Three youths, one with a gun, robbed a North Carey Street man of a book of food stamps valued at $111 Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a man of his wallet and personal papers near his home in the 1100 block of N. Calhoun St. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an office at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St. with a key and stole a 35mm camera and accessories, all valued at $750.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke into a 1985 Nissan Maxima in the 2800 block of Virginia Ave. and stole property valued at $1,050 over the weekend.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A 5-foot tall stand-up digital clock valued at more than $200 was stolen from a house in the 600 block of E. 33rd St. over the weekend by someone who entered through a kitchen door.

THEFT: Northern District -- A telephone valued at $100 was stolen from an office in the nuclear medicine section of Union Memorial Hospital Sunday or Monday.

THEFT: Northern District -- A 20-inch gold necklace with diamonds valued at $1,000 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 1400 block of Union Ave.

SCHOOL BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke through a window to the Roland Park Elementary-Middle School in the 5200 block of Roland Ave. over the weekend and stole $600 from an office safe.

THEFT: Northern District -- A purse containing nearly $200 was stolen from the bedroom of a home in the 5200 block of Ivanhoe Ave. Monday morning.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of W. Garrison Ave. Monday through a basement door and stole a compact disc player, stereo equipment and a radio, all valued at $800.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Several cartons of cigarettes, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen over the weekend from New Guilford Liquors in the 2800 block of Guilford Ave. by someone who entered after cutting a lock off a door.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Southern District -- Two men were arrested Tuesday night inside Charley & Dee's carryout in the 1300 block of Bush St. by Officer Dennis Moured, who was responding to a burglar alarm. The two men were charged with burglary. Victor Grap, 21, of the 1900 block of Wilkens Ave., and David Johnson, 25, of the 1300 block of Sergeant St., were being held at the police station pending a bail hearing. Police said they found several cartons of cigarettes, which had been taken from a display shelf, stacked inside the store,
