Baltimore man charged with assault

A Baltimore man was charged with assault with intent to murder after police said he aimed a shotgun at several people inside a Glen Burnie house Friday.

According to the police report, officers were called to a house in the 2700 block of Wrenway Drive at 3 p.m. to settle a fight. When they arrived, several people told them that Warren Lee Yates Jr., 28, of the 500 block of S. Caton Ave., allegedly pointed a gun at them. They told the officers that they ran out of the house before he could fire a shot.

Police arrested Mr. Yates and confiscated the shotgun.

Friendly lift turns into an armed robbery

A Baltimore County man was robbed early Sunday morning by a man and a woman who said they would give him a ride home from Hammerjacks bar, county police reported.

According to the police report, the pair offered to drive the man home to Owings Mill about 2:25 a.m. The woman said she was going to drop her boyfriend off first on Ingalls Road in Glen Burnie.

When they got to Ingalls Road, the man put a gun to the victim's head and demanded his wallet and keys. The victim complied and the pair forced him out of the car.

The victim could not provide police with a description of his assailants.

Bar patron punched, robbed of his wallet

A 44-year-old Glen Burnie man was robbed of $135 Friday outside of a Glen Burnie bar, county police reported.

According to the police report, the man was leaving Henny Mack's bar in the 7100 block of Furnace Branch Road at 2:25 p.m., when the robber walked up to him and punched him in the eye.

He took the man's wallet and ran away. The victim could not give police a description of the robber.

* Harundale: A man reported to police that someone broke into his 1985 Toyota truck Friday while it was parked in front of his home in the 1700 block of Kirk Road and stole the stereo and speakers. The property is valued at $150.

* Town and Country, South: A resident reported to police that someone broke into her home in the 400 block of Starwood Drive Friday. She did not know exactly what was taken.
