No, she didn't quit her day job. No, she's not working undercover.

Barbara San Gabino, better known as the principal at Odenton Elementary School, will be behind the counter tonight at the Odenton McDonalds, taking and filling orders for a good cause.

San Gabino is taking part in Principal's Day, a fund-raiser from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for her school sponsored by the local fast-food restaurant. A portion of the evening's proceeds will go directly to the school.

In addition to the food, the children may have their faces painted and may pick up balloons.

The Odenton McDonalds is at 1502 Annapolis Road (Route 175).

The Odenton Heritage Society will hold its annual Birthday Bash, at 10 a.m., Nov. 18 at the Odenton Library. All are welcome. Membership is not required.
