Salisbury wins, reaches Final Four

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Senior forward Kristen Guttilla scored all three goals to lead Salisbury State past Franklin & Marshall, 3-0, yesterday in the NCAA Division III, Region II final at Homewood Field. Salisbury (12-5-1) will advance to the Final Four for the first time.

Maryland 2, North Carolina 1

Sixth-ranked Maryland ended fourth-ranked North Carolina's nine-year Atlantic Coast Conference tournament run with a penalty-stroke victory over the Tar Heels to capture the ACC championship.

Maryland's Laura Harmon gave the Terps (14-4-1) a 3-1 lead in the stroke-off, and Lisa Rowe scored the Terps' only goal in regulation.
