Severna Park teen robbed by gunman

A man with a paper bag over his head and armed with a revolver robbed a Severna Park teen-ager Wednesday night as the youth was walking near Folger-McKinsey Elementary School, police said.

Warren Elsaesser, 16, told police he was walking down Arundel Beach Road about 10:30 p.m. when a man approached him from behind, put a revolver to his back and demanded money.

The youth said he gave the man his wallet containing $10 and the suspect ran west on Arundel Beach Road toward the Severna Park Mall.
