November 06, 1992

A 28-year-old O'Donnell Heights man was shot to death last night during an argument with four men a few blocks from the victim's home.

Pronounced dead at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center at 12:20 a.m. today from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body was Allan Wise, 28, of the 1200 block of Wellsbach Way.

Shot in the leg by a stray bullet while walking more than a block from the shooting was Michael Hemphill, 36, of the 6200 block of Alumore Way.

Mr. Hemphill walked home and went by cab to the same hospital, where he was treated and released.

Homicide detective Gene Constantine said Mr. Wise was arguing with four men known as "Steebo," "Tony," "Eugene," and "Shawn" in the 1300 block of Stromeyer Way last night when one of them pulled out a gun and shot him several times in the chest.

The men drove off in a tan Dodge sedan that was recovered more than an hour later in the 2500 block of Keyworth Ave. in

northwest Baltimore.

Unoccupied when found, the vehicle was towed to police headquarters, where crime lab technicians were to process it today for fingerprints and other clues that may lead to the suspects.
