Gunman orders burrito, robs fast-food diner

A man armed with what witnesses believe was a BB-gun robbed a Linthicum Taco Bell yesterday morning from the restaurant's drive-up window.

A police report said the man walked to the restaurant, in the 5100 block of Raynor Ave., shortly past midnight and ordered a soda and a beef burrito from Assistant Manager Kimberly Ritenour.

As Ms. Ritenour was preparing the food, a manager trainee, Tom Sehupbach, took the man's $5 bill for payment. When Mr. Sehupbach handed him the change, the man took out a gun and demanded money from the drawer, police said.

The report said Mr. Sehupbach gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money. The man got into a dark brown, full-sized pickup truck and drove away with his lights off on Nursery Road, toward the Baltimore Beltway.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 50s, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a green windbreaker jacket with a red and black shirt underneath and was armed with a small-caliber handgun.
