WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Christian Powers scored on a crossing pass from Bill Owens 16:14 into the second half to give William & Mary (13-3-4) a 1-0 victory over Loyola College (13-4-1) in men's soccer last night.
The win extended William & Mary's unbeaten streak to 16 games. Loyola had won its previous two games.
The Greyhounds outshot the Tribe, 15-8, but were kept scoreless by goalkeeper Scott Budnick, who made four saves in the final five minutes.
