Linthicum Citgo robbed by gunman

A gunman robbed the Citgo gas station in Linthicum Friday, county police reported.

Detectives said the gunman walked into the station in the 700 block of N. Hammonds Ferry Road at 3:37 p.m. and pointed a gun at the clerk. He demanded money, and the clerk gave him cash from the register.

Police did not give a complete description of the robber.

POLICE LOG

* Brooklyn Park: A resident told police someone stole an antique ship lantern from his front yard in the 100 block of Franklin Ave. Friday night.

* Brooklyn Park: A man reported to police that someone broke into his home in the 200 block of Townsend Ave. between Friday and Sunday and stole lawn equipment. The property was valued at $249.

Brooklyn Park: A woman told police someone broke into her apartment in the 4900 block of Brookwood Road between Thursday and Saturday and stole a color television and video cassette recorder. The value of the property was not known.

Ferndale: A home in the first block of Greenwood Ave. was broken into Friday night. Police do not know exactly what was taken.

* Linthicum: Vandals broke into a fenced construction site in the 6900 block of B&A Blvd. Saturday. They stole tools valued at $13,670.

* Linthicum: Burglars broke into the ACS Express office in the 600 block of Hammonds Ferry Road Saturday and stole $100.
