Breast feeding is focus of La Leche discussion

A new La Leche League group has scheduled its first meeting for Nov. 4. The meetings will be held in the Savage library, off Gorman Road, at 10:15 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month.

This month's discussion topic is breast feeding. Cindy Clemens will guide the discussion. The group is responsive to questions, she said, so the topic changes during the course of the meeting. She invited new mothers to bring their babies, saying, "We don't want to separate mothers and children."

The league has a circulating library on breast feeding and related topics, along with information sheets on particular aspects of breast feeding available at a nominal cost.
