Devilish Touch takes Stefanita 'Cap by 4 lengths

LAUREL -- Devilish Touch collared pacesetter Corporate Fund and won the $43,575 Stefanita Handicap at Laurel Race Course yesterday by four lengths.

The 4-year-old filly, ridden by Joe Rocco, ran the six furlongs in 1 minute, 9 4/5 seconds. Corporate Fund hung on for second, followed by Mixed Appeal.

Trainer Carlos Garcia also won the eighth race with Foolish Line. Two other trainers, Ferris Allen and Vinnie Blengs, also pulled off Laurel doubles. Allen won the first and fifth races, and Blengs posted victories in the sixth and 12th.

Jockey Mark Johnston, who has recovered from a broken collarbone, won three races on the Laurel card.
