SALISBURY CENTRAL ATHLETIC CONFERENCE — SALISBURY -- Frostburg State University captured the men's and women's titles at the Eastern States Athletic Conference meet at Salisbury State yesterday.
Matt Larmore finished the 8,000-meter course in a course-record 25 minutes, 24 seconds to lead the men to their third consecutive championship. Frostburg's Christine Chappell won the 5,000-meter women's race in 19:55.

Mary Washington took the men's and women's team titles and Allison Coleman and Murray Cheeno took home individual titles at Goucher College. Coleman finished the 5K course in 20:09, and Cheeno finished the 8K course in 28:18.

NEW YORK -- Senior Nadine Jamerson captured the individual title, leading Mount St. Mary's to a third-place finish in the women's race behind host Wagner, which placed all five scorers among the top 14.
In the men's race, freshman Bernard Kitur finished second overall as the Mount placed fifth in the 10-team meet. Fairleigh Dickinson, led by individual champion Vinko Markovina, won the men's race.

Nicholas Eugene won the men's race in 25:09, as Coppin scored a perfect 15 points. Diana Pitts took the women's race in 17:36. The Eagles women were one point short of a sweep.
