Baltimore City

ARMED ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, went to a work site where employees of Oasis Home Improvement Co. were restoring a house Thursday morning and announced a robbery. The workers, who were restoring a vacant house in the 1500 block of Montford Ave., were robbed of an electric saw and a drill, worth a total of $375.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A 12-inch television worth $69 was stolen sometime Wednesday from a home in the 1500 block of N. Fulton Ave. by someone who entered by breaking a rear window.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A Lanvale Street man was shot just up the street from his home at 9 p.m. Tuesday. He was hit in the left side and left wrist by someone he told police he knows, but whom he won't identify. The victim was listed in fair condition at University Hospital.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A thief broke in to a residence Wednesday in the 2300 block of Eutaw Place and took tools and furniture worth a total of $7,066. Entrance was gained through a back basement door.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men robbed a mother and her son at their home in the 2300 block of Wichita Ave. on Wednesday, then stole their car before getting into a minor car accident. The men knocked on the door of the home at 9:05 a.m. and, after the 23-year-old son answered, they barged in demanding money. One of the men was armed with a silver handgun. The men took a radio worth $250 and the car keys to the 1988 Chevrolet Beretta, which they abandoned in the 2700 block of Reisterstown Road after getting into an accident. The men fled and couldn't be found.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into an office in the 2800 block of W. North Ave. and took $386 worth of assorted property. The theft occurred sometime between Wednesday and Oct. 8.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A compact disc player and two color televisions worth a total of $991 were stolen sometime before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from a home in the 1500 block of W. Mulberry St. Entrance was gained through a second-floor rear window.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A gold bracelet worth $100 was stolen sometime Tuesday or Wednesday by someone who entered a home in the 800 block of Carrollton Ave. through the front door.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- An unidentified man robbed another man at gunpoint on the street in the 2200 block of Fulton Ave. The robbery occurred at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday and the robber took $15.

ARMED ROBBERYARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man armed with an ice pick threatened another man in the 400 block of Gilmor Street at 2 p.m. Wednesday and took his jacket and $140.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Over $900 worth of stereo equipment was stolen sometime before 1:55 p.m. Wednesday from a home in the 1700 block of W. Franklin St. The burglar entered through the front door.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man walking in the 1200 block off Kerry Street reported he was robbed at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday by a man who pointed a gun at him and demanded his money. The gunman took $80.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A computer and a color television worth a total off $800 were reported stolen at 8 a.m. Tuesday from a home entered when someone forced open a door.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man walked into the Half-Mile Carryout store in the 4100 block of Frederick Avenue at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday and pointed a gun at an employee. He took $50 before he fled.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Sometime between Saturday and Tuesday, a burglar kicked in the basement door of the Good Tidings Church in the 3000 block of Windsor Avenue and took $1,039 worth of electronic equipment.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- About $27 worth of cosmetics were stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday from the Hair Flashback Salon in the 4100 block of Frederick Avenue. The thief entered through a second-floor window.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- Two men armed with baseball bats beat a man in the 200 block of Edgewood Street after questioning him about a prior incident. Police said the man's condition isn't known. The incident occurred about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men took $206 from an Everfresh Fruit Juice Company truck driver Wednesday at 4:25 p.m. as he stopped to make a delivery in the 3000 block of W. Lanvale St.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone used a key to the business to enter the Majestic Cleaners in the 5000 block off Lawndale Ave. and took $455 in cash and property. The burglary occurred sometime Tuesday or Wednesday.

AUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1973 Ford station wagon was reported stolen at 4 a.m. Wednesday from in front of the owner's home.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into a garage in the 4300 block of Evans Chapel Road on Tuesday or Wednesday and stole a mountain bike, a fishing rod, tools and a drill. Total value of the items taken was $1,715.
