POLICE LOG

* Vandals caused an estimated $1,312 in damages to three automobiles parked on the lot of the Wheeler Chrysler-Plymouth dealership in the 200 block of E. Main St. on Monday. Michael Dotson, a company official, reported the incident to police.

An intruder entered the shop of Shear Designs, in the same block of East Main Street, and took valuables worth $1,087 an official of the company told police on Sunday.

FIRE LOG

* Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from Pleasant Valley, Taneytown and Westminster were dispatched to a report of a building fire on Baugher Road at 6:49 a.m. on Tuesday.

* Reese: Firefighters from the Reese station extinguished a trash fire on Blackfoot Court in 20 minutes about 10 p.m. Saturday.

The Reese company also responded to a call to investigate a reported fire near the station on Baltimore Boulevard (Route 140) at 8:16 p.m. Sunday.

* Westminster: A 5:49 a.m. call Sunday for a fire alarm sounding in a building on Hahn Road brought fire equipment from Westminster and Reese to the scene.
