Pumpkin vandals raid Schramm's farm

Vandals broke into the a shed at Schramm's Turkey Farm on Mountain Road Sunday night and destroyed about $600 in pumpkins.

According to the police report, the vandals cut and broke open the pumpkins. The only evidence at the scene was a set of small footprints leading from the shed into the woods.

Police say teens burned cross at their own home

County police say a cross-burning Saturday night at the Martin Pollak Project home in Pasadena was done by the juveniles who live there.

Sgt. Don Ziegler said the cross was put on the front lawn of the home in the 1100 block of Ridge Road and set on fire as a prank.

Two teen-agers in the home confessed, and charges are pending, Sergeant Ziegler said.

Glen Burnie man arrested for cursing

A Glen Burnie man was charged with disorderly conduct for yelling obscenities outside a Pasadena apartment Saturday.

County police said officers were called to the 8100 block of Dewberry Court at 10:45 p.m. They say that when they arrived they found a man screaming obscenities at his brother, with whom he had had a fist fight earlier in the day.

After he refused to leave, Richard Allen Vanmeter, 22, of the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle, was arrested, police reported.
