County police search for guns stolen from store

County police are trying to recover guns stolen from a Glen Burnie sporting goods store Sunday.

Police said they responded to a tripped alarm at Colonial Arms Sporting Goods in the 7400 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. at 8:47 p.m.

Burglars broke into the store by prying open the front door with a crowbar.

Police say the thieves broke the glass on the display case and took two revolvers, five semiautomatic handguns and one pistol.

The total value of the guns was not known.

* Mountain Ridge Apartments.: A man reported to police that someone broke into his home in the 300 block of Mountain Ridge Road Thursday and stole money and other property. The total value of the property is not known.

* Glen Burnie: Someone broke into Ferguson Enterprises in the first block of Holsum Way Friday and stole money.
