Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Central District -- Two men were shot around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of W. Hoffman St. Jules Williams, 25, of the 1000 block of Argyle Ave., was shot in the upper left arm and was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center. The other victim, Ronald Brown, 22, of the 1200 block of Argyle Ave., was shot in the head and is listed in stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said cocaine was found at the scene and the shooting appeared to be drug related.

SHOOTING: Central District -- Two men were shot early Sunday morning by a gunman dressed in dark clothing while they stood in the 600 block of W. Hoffman St. Both were taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment. Shot in a buttock was Keith Green, 17, of the 300 block of N. Schroeder St. Shot in the right forearm was Edward Smith, 30, of the 1000 block of Edmondson Ave. Police had no motive for the shootings.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone forced the front door into a house in the 6100 block of Parkway Drive between Sept. 30 and Saturday and stole a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun valued at $150.

THEFT: Northern District -- A bike valued at $400 and owned by a resident of the 300 block of Woodbourne Ave. was stolen Sunday afternoon after the owner left it unattended in the 300 block of Paddington Road.

THEFT: Northern District -- A compact disc player valued at more than $500 was stolen from a 1986 Volkswagen in the 4600 block of Roland Ave. over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A northern Baltimore County resident was robbed of his Gucci-brand watch valued at $300 by a man who approached him from the rear in the 200 block of E. Madison St. and stuck an unknown hard object in his back early Saturday morning.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the North Avenue Motel in the 100 block of W. North Ave. was shoved to the sidewalk and robbed of $20 by a man who had asked him first for a match while walking near the motel around 10 p.m. Saturday.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A 26-year-old resident of the 2400 block of Callow Ave. was leaning against a building in the 200 block of Robert St. Saturday night when he was robbed of $115 by a gunman.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men, one with a silver-plated handgun, robbed a resident of the 200 block of Midland Ave. of a gold necklace with an Egyptian symbol on it while the victim was in the 100 block of N. Calvert St. Saturday night.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone forced the front door of a house in the 1900 block of Eutaw Place over the weekend and stole stereo equipment and a VCR, all valued at $1,200.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Jewelry, clothing, a watch and a camera, all valued at $800, were stolen Sunday morning from an apartment in the 1200 block of St. Paul St. after someone entered through an open front door.

AUTO THEFT: Central District -- A 1985 Plymouth was stolen Saturday night while parked in the 700 block of N. Calvert St. Police said the keys were left in the ignition.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone broke through a rear door to Jesus Is the Way Apostolic Church in the 1300 block of Myrtle Ave. over the weekend and stole an electric heater valued at $70. Several rooms also were ransacked.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Several cartons of cigarettes were stolen Sunday afternoon after someone broke into the Chinese Food Carryout in the 600 block of W. Lexington St. Entry was gained by breaking a window, and a man in his 20s was being sought. The cigarettes were valued at $170.

THEFT: Central District -- A 35mm camera, a 50mm lens and other lenses, all valued at $2,000, were stolen from a parked 1988 Ford Bronco in the 1100 block of Eutaw St. Sunday afternoon. The passenger door was forced open.

THEFT: Central District -- A 35mm camera, radar detector and a leather coat, all valued at more than $700, were taken from a Pennsylvania resident's car in the 100 block of S. Gay St. Sunday afternoon. A car window was smashed.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A 58-year-old woman was walking in the 2100 block of N. Charles St. Sunday afternoon when a man approached her from the rear and stole her purse containing $350.

THEFT: Central District -- Stereo equipment, shoes, clothing and cassette tapes, all valued at more than $600, were stolen from a Virginia resident's 1991 Volkswagen in the 300 block of St. Paul St. over the weekend.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a house in the 1800 block of N. Payson St. Saturday evening by forcing the rear door. Whether anything was stolen was unknown.

THEFT: Western District -- A 31-year-old man is being sought in connection with the theft of a VCR valued at $400 from a house in the 1600 block of McKean Ave. Saturday night.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A man broke into a house in the 1600 block of W. Lexington St. Saturday by forcing a first-floor window and stole property of unknown value.
