Havre de Grace man charged in slaying

William Elmarco Dixon, 20, of the 400 block Battery Village in Havre de Grace, has been charged with manslaughter and child abuse in connection with the death of 16-month-old Chevez Malik Domingue.

The child, who also lived in the 400 block of Battery Drive, was fatally injured on Sept. 29.

Mr. Dixon appeared before a District Court Commissioner Tuesday. Bail was set a $50,000. He is in the county detention center.

Crime Solvers offers $1,000 reward

Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a residential theft on March 3, 1991.

An intruder broke out a bedroom window and entered a house in the 1200 block of Janet Drive in Edgewood between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Taken from the home were a color TV, a scanner, a telephone answering machine, a stereo system and two VCRs. The value of the goods was $9,105.

Bel Air man charged in drug case

Randall Leigh Sanders, 30, of the 3100 block of Sandy Hook Road, was arrested by the Bel Air Police Department and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to manufacture and distribute drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.

He was released on his own recognizance.

Aberdeen

600 block South Philadelphia Blvd.: Theft of a vehicle stereo system, a CB radio and a box of tools stolen from a parked car. Value was put at $1,000.

Beards Hill Plaza: An undetermined amount of jewelry and electronic equipment was stolen from Rent-A-Center. Value was put at $400.
