State Police investigate area break-ins SOUTHEAST -- Sykesville * Eldersburg * Gamber

Maryland State Police at the Westminster barracks are investigating two break-ins in the southeast Carroll area.

In the first, two fishing rods and reels, three boogie boards and a hot-pink stunt bike plus other sports equipment was stolen from the garage behind a house on Kingston Circle Sept. 30.

In the second, a tool box containing hand tools and a welder with a gasoline engine and other equipment were stolen from an attached garage on Heritage Lane early on Oct. 2. If you have information about these or any other county crimes, call 876-8956.
