CHARLES TOWN, W. VA. — CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- The Charles Town Races will present Santa Anita Park's Columbus Day program this afternoon, featuring free admission and free general parking.

Post time for the simulcast card is 4 p.m.

A total of 153 2-year-olds remain eligible for the $25,000-added Tri-State Futurity to be run Saturday at Charles Town.

The Tri-State, a seven-furlong sprint for 2-year-olds foaled in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, is one of only a few true futurities in the United States. All horses must be nominated before foaling with no supplemental nominations.

In 1991, the Tri-State Futurity was run in two divisions with a gross purse of $74,824.
