Man charged after detectives make marijuana purchase

A Pasadena man was charged with distribution of marijuana after undercover detectives bought the drug from him Thursday night.

According to the police report, Eastern District narcotic detectives bought a quarter-pound of marijuana from Richard Earl Davis, 28, of the first block of Chestnut Hill Avenue.

They met Mr. Davis on the B & A Trail near Listman's Grocery store, and he took them back to his house.

When Mr. Davis arrived later at the Earleigh Height's Tavern, officers arrested him.

Man, 44, is booked on marijuana charge

A 44-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana after detectives searched his home Thursday night.

Investigators said they served a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Magnolia Ave. at 10:30 p.m. and seized over an ounce of marijuana, $600 and drug paraphernalia.

Alfred Nevin Kelly, who lived at that address, was taken to Eastern District station to be charged.
