* Ellicott City: 3100 block of The Cascades Court: On Oct. 2, someone turned over a barbecue and dumped the ashes in front of a garage door. The person then dumped the barbecue on the front porch. Two weeks prior, someone had cut an open leaf-filled grass and lawn bags and dumped the clippings on the front porch.

3500 block of Courthouse Drive: On Sept. 30 or Oct. 2, someone stole two Maryland license plates (XXX-382) from a 1979 Chevrolet Impala.

4800 block of Worthington Way: On Oct. 2, someone smashed a mailbox. The resident said two weeks prior another mailbox was smashed. In August, another mailbox was smashed.

8900 block of Route 108: On Tuesday, someone smashed the right-side passenger window to a Dodge Ram truck while it was parked on Howard High School's parking lot.

9900 block of Old Mill Road: On Wednesday, someone stole a $700 Raleigh men's 10-speed bicycle from an opened garage door.

5100 block of Bonnie Branch Road: On Tuesday or Wednesday, someone smashed the front windshield to a 1982 Pontiac.

2100 block of Mount Hebron Drive: On Oct. 1 or Oct. 2, someone stole a $303 Specialized 26-inch dark blue bicycle.

9200 block of Baltimore National Pike: On Oct. 6 or Oct. 7, someone stole a $299 Brother Bubble Jet printer.

* Elkridge 6300 block of South Hanover Road: On Oct. 2 or Oct. 3, someone stole a $50 factory-installed car antennae from a 1990 Chevrolet Corsica.

6300 block of Greenfield Road: On Wednesday or Thursday, someone entered a locked 1984 Pontiac Fiero, possibly by using a slim jim, and stole an ignition key and a hide-a-key box.

6400 block of Greenfield Road: On Wednesday or Thursday, someone gained entry to a 1987 Pontiac Firebird, ransacked the interior and stole a $10 registration card.
