FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — COLLEGE PARK -- Freshman Kelly Amonte scored her 10th and 11th goals of the year to lead the Maryland women to a season-high fifth straight victory, 4-0, over Villanova yesterday at Denton Field.

Sophomore Audra Weber added the other goals for the Terrapins (9-4), who scored their second straight shutout. Cailin Mullins and Tami Riley as the goalies made a combined five saves.

Essex CC 2, SUNY-Farmingdale 0

FARMINGDALE, N.Y.-- Leftwing Stacy Schott scored both goals to lead Essex (7-0), ranked No. 4 nationally in NJCAA women's soccer, over No. 6-ranked SUNY-Farmingdale (5-4). Lee Biggerman assisted on both goals.

College of Notre Dame 3, Guilford (N.C.) 0

Corina Riismandel scored two goals as Notre Dame (9-2-1) defeated visiting Guilford (4-5-2). Becky Thiele had one goal and one assist for Notre Dame.

Freshman Toni Zarrachi scored the game winner on a penalty kick 1:55 into the second half as Campbell Universtiy (5-6-1) shut out Towson State (1-7). Christine Saddler added an insurance goal with 3:19 left in the game.
