Severna Park Corral 27 plans fund-raiser roast

The Severna Park Colts Corral 27 joins the Council of Baltimore Colt Corrals in announcing its annual fund raiser from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 7, 1993, at Michael's Eighth Avenue.

Tickets to the annual oyster and bull roast cost $21.50 a person and can be obtained by calling Marc Lombardi, 544-8240. The non-profit organization is the only one in the National Football League that has been together since 1957.

Mikulski aide to discuss peace dividend Oct. 13

Annie Lesher, national security adviser to Sen. Barbara Mikulski, a Maryland Democrat, will discuss the connection between the military and the civilian community at an Oct. 13 meeting of the Anne Arundel County Council of Community Services.

The meeting is scheduled for noon at the People's Resource Center, 100 Community Place in Crownsville. The event is free.

Because of proposed cuts in military spending, council members have asked Ms. Mikulski to explore how the military could use its resources to help the civilian community.

Arnold: William Klamon, 50, of the 100 block of Cressont Road, told police that thieves smashed the window of his 1984 Maserati and stole stereo equipment worth $360 sometime Friday night.

Severna Park: A couple who rented two bicycles worth $500 from the Pedal Pusher, in the 500 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Friday never returned them, bike shop owner Frank Funk told county police.
