Two arrested after shot fired into home

Charges were pending yesterday against two men, one of whom, police say, shot into an Arnold home Friday night.

No one was hit by a bullet, but the unidentified daughter of Charles Gordon Bell, 27, of the 1100 block of Greenhill Road, was injured by dry wall fragments loosened by a .22-caliber bullet.

Mr. Bell told police he saw two men armed with rifles arguing in the back of a home in the 500 block of Greenblades Court about 7:30 Friday night.

They left the area, but a few minutes later, Mr. Bell said, he heard a gunshot outside his back window and his daughter complained of being hit on the head with some debris.

Police said a .22-caliber slug was shot into the home, hit the ceiling and landed on the living room floor. Witnesses led police to one of the suspect's homes in Arnold.

The men turned over the .22-caliber rifle to police. They admitted to shooting in the area, but denied shooting at the house.

The 36-year-old Arnold man and the 33-year-old Baltimore man face charges of reckless endangerment.

Old Mill student, 13, hit, kicked and robbed

One of the suspects stole the boy's gold necklace with a crucifix attached. Police had no description of the suspects.
