Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Central District -- The intended victim of a street robbery was shot in the left buttock while running from his assailant about 3:35 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block Myrtle Avenue. Nothing was taken. The victim was admitted to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in good condition.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A woman stole a purse from a woman in the 1800 block of St. Paul St. Saturday night between 7 and 7:30 p.m. There was $250 in the bag.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men approached the victim in the 300 block of W. Baltimore St., pointed a handgun and took a wallet with $75 in cash and a watch valued at $800 at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

THEFT: Central District -- A man, described as a Hispanic, pried open a window to a vehicle in the 1000 block of Lovegrove Road and took a radar detector valued at $250 at 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A man entered a house in the 800 block of North Glover Street, accused a woman resident of stealing an electronic organ, revealed a handgun and threatened to shoot her at 10:15 p.m. Friday. She was not hurt, however.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- While walking from her house in the 2200 block of Ashland Ave., a woman was approached by someone who took her purse with $420 in cash at 6:15 a.m. Saturday.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District: Someone broke pried out a rear basement window to the Homestead United Methodist Church in the 1500 block of Gorsuch Avenue between 8 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday and stole numerous cases of food, including chicken, hot-dogs, sugar and rice valued at $131.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District: Someone broke through a side door window to G. C. Murphy's in the 3900 block of Erdman Avenue between 10 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday and stole an unknown quantity of cigarettes.

AUTO THEFT: Northeastern District -- A car was stolen from in front of a house in the 3300 block of Richmond Ave. about 9 a.m. Friday.

ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two suspects robbed a 68-year-old man of his wallet and $250 in the 1200 block of Lakeside Ave. about 11:30 a.m. Friday.

ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- The purse of a 68-year-old woman was taken at in the 1200 block of E. 25th St. about 3 p.m. Friday.

ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two suspects robbed a 74-year-old man in the 2000 block of Sinclair Lane. about 2 p.m. Friday.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A color television and a baby stroller were taken from an apartment in the 1400 block of Montpelier St. about 10 a.m. Friday. Police pursued the suspects, but they got away.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- An 84-year-old woman walking in the 5200 block of Tramore Road was knocked to the ground and her purse was snatched about 11 a.m. Friday.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- A 17-year-old male was taken into custody after police said he attempted to run down an officer with a car in the 2200 block of Pinewood Ave. about 3:10 p.m. Friday. The officer had motioned for the youth to stop the car when the suspect attempted the assault. The officer was struck, but received only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- An unknown amount of property was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Quantril Way by someone who broke through a living-room window between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke into a car parked in the 1100 block of East Belvedere St. about 9:45 a.m. Sunday and stole a handbag with $55 inside.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered an unlocked car in the 4400 block of La Plata Ave. and took $145 in cash and FTC valuables shortly after midnight on Saturday.

ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two suspects, one displaying handgun, demanded a purse from a woman walking in the 2300 block of Sundew Terrace about 1:15 a.m. Saturday. The suspects took a $20 bill and gave the purse back to the woman.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of E. 30th St. and took a .357 Magnum and money valued at $410 between 1 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

AUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1988 Jeep was stolen from in front of a house in the 300 block of E. Lake Ave. late Friday or early Saturday.

THEFT: Northern District -- A bike valued at $137 was taken from outside a house in the 500 block of W. 29th St. about 9 a.m. on Saturday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone took $1,300 worth of stereo equipment and tapes from a car in the front of a house in the 500 block of Wyanoke Ave. late Friday or early Saturday.

THEFT: Northern District -- A suspect took a purse and valuables worth $445 from a 42-year-old woman walking in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. about 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A suspect took a bike and money worth $700 from a victim in the 2800 block of N. Charles St. about 3 p.m. Saturday.
