W. Maryland goes to 4-0 with 39-0 win

WESTMINSTER -- Rob Johnson and Ken Williams scored two touchdowns each and the Western Maryland defense registered its second shutout of the season as it defeated Muhlenberg, 39-0, in a Centennial Football Conference game.

F: Western Maryland is 4-0 for the first time since 1968.

FROSTBURG -- Jimmy Carter rushed for two touchdowns, including a 3-yard plunge that put Frost- burg State (3-1) ahead for good before 3,900 at Bobcat Stadium.

It was the third straight win for Frostburg (3-1), which had 362 yards of total offense.
