Register -- Today!

October 03, 1992

Time is running out. If you want to make a difference in the presidential election, if you want to cast your vote on this most vital national decision, you must register. Monday is the deadline.

State officials have made it relatively easy. You can show up at your county or city election board till 9 p.m. on Monday and fill out a form. You can sign up during working hours at the Motor Vehicle Administration offices in Gaithersburg, Laurel, Waldorf, Bel Air or Annapolis. And you can get an application form at state health, social services and motor vehicle offices, as well as at post offices, libraries and local schools or colleges.

All you need do -- if you're a U.S. citizen, a Maryland resident and atleast 18 years old -- is take the time to complete the form and submit it by Monday's deadline.

Presto! You're eligible to decide if it will be Bush, Clinton or Perot on Nov. 3. It's time you stepped forward and expressed your opinion in a manner that makes an impact. That's what democracy, American-style, is all about. Do it today.
