Missing woman, 59, found dead in water

A body found floating in Long Cove off of Stoney Creek Tuesday morning has been identified as that of a Baltimore woman who had been missing from her home for several hours.

Teresa Maria Colussi, 59, of the 1100 block of Gloria Ave., was reported missing to Baltimore County police at 7 p.m. Tuesday when she did not return home, police said.

Her body has been sent to the medical examiner's officer to determine the cause of death.

Pasadena man charged in burning of clothes

A 41-year-old man has been charged with destruction of property after police said he set a woman's clothes on fire Tuesday.

According to the police report, officers were called to a home in the 7700 block of Stoney Creek Drive in Pasadena and found a man standing in the front yard with a hose in his hand and a small fire burning.

Cindy Lou Spangenberg, 29, of that address, said the burning clothing was hers. The officer put out the fire and also charged Robert Mario Garcia, of the 7700 block of Stoney Creek Drive, with arson.

The fire was the result of a domestic argument between Ms. Spangenberg and Mr. Garcia, reports said.

Lumber store manager robbed at knifepoint

A man armed with a knife robbed the manager of a lumber store Tuesday evening.

According to police, the manager of the 84 Lumber store in the 7900 block of Fort Smallwood Road was leaving the store at 8:50 p.m. when the robber came up from behind and threatened him with a knife.

The manager turned over the money, and the robber locked him in a shed before running down Fort Smallwood Road toward Solley Road.

The robber was described as as white male with a medium build, wearing a ski mask and blue parka.
