Baltimore City

CARJACKING: Southwestern District -- A gunman forced a woman out of her car in the 600 block of Lyndhurst St. early Sunday morning and drove off. The woman was not hurt. The car is still missing.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 3100 block of Belmont Ave. over the weekend and stole property valued at $665.

ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- A man named "Jerry" was being sought in connection with the assault by threatening to shoot a resident of the 500 block of S. Wickham Road during an incident near the victim's house Saturday night. The victim told police the man pointed a 9mm handgun at him and threatened to shoot.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A TV valued at $350 was stolen from a house in the 4600 block of Manordene Road over the weekend after someone broke in through the front door.

AUTO THEFT: Southwestern District -- A 1990 Subaru with state vanity tags SLR-1 was stolen over the weekend while it was parked in the 1600 block of N. Hilton St. The car's owner lives in the 4500 block of Derby Manor Road.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 1900 block of Christian St. was in the 600 block of S. Payson St. Sunday afternoon when a man he knows grabbed several blank movie tapes from his grasp and fled.

AUTO THEFT: Western District -- Police recovered a South Carolina man's 1985 Ford Mustang about six hours after it was stolen Sunday from the 2100 block of Bryant Ave. The car was parked on a sidewalk on Elgin Avenue.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone broke into a 1984 Mercury owned by a resident of the 5500 block of Perdue Ave. while it was parked in the 2400 block of W. Fayette St. Sunday and stole a 6-inch TV and several pieces of clothing. The property was valued at $450 and entry was gained by breaking a passenger window.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 900 block of N. Gilmor St. was in the 800 block of N. Gilmor St. Sunday night when she was robbed of $13 by a gunman.

AUTO THEFT: Western District -- A 1987 Ford Mustang owned by a resident of the 8800 block of Falcon Ridge Drive in Randallstown was stolen Sunday while it was parked in the 2000 block of N. Fulton Ave.

THEFT: Western District -- A 35-year-old woman known as "Cookie" was being sought in connection with the theft of a 16-inch gold chain valued at $300 from the occupant of a house in the 1900 block of Vine St. while visiting there over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A Woodlawn woman was robbed of her purse and property valued at $30 early Saturday in the 1300 block of W. North Ave. The robber put an unknown object against her back.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A man known as "Shawn" was being sought in connection with a shot being fired at a man early Sunday in the 700 block of N. Carey St.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Edmondson Ave. was threatened with injury near his home Monday evening by a teen-age gunman who demanded he sell drugs for him.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police arrested a man Monday and charged him with assaulting a woman he knows about 4 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block N. Mount St. Police said his car hit her van and then, while she was being treated at Liberty Medical Center for injuries, the van's tires were flattened. Charged with assault and held overnight at the station pending a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner was Kevin Kennedy, of the 2700 block of W. North Ave.

THEFT: Western District -- A refrigerator valued at $200 was stolen Sunday from a room at the Bon Secours Hospital in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested Benjamin Stanback, 28, of the 1500 block of Baker St., Monday morning and charged him with assault by pointing a .22-caliber handgun at a resident of the 1800 block of Kavanaugh St. during an incident near the victim's home. Mr. Stanback was being held at the police station in lieu of $20,000 bail.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Clothing and a cassette player valued at nearly $300 were stolen from a house in the 100 block of N. Mount St. Monday after someone entered through a rear door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a house in the 2800 block of Presbury St. over the weekend through TC first-floor window and stole two 5-gallon containers of dry wall compound and a metal door valued at nearly $150.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Herney's grocery store in the 500 block of N. Arlington Ave. of an undisclosed sum about 9:30 a.m. Monday.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A house under renovation in the 1700 block of Mosher St. was broken into by someone over the weekend who stole a stove, copper piping, a window and a sink, all valued at $1,300. The house was being renovated after its former occupants were recently evicted.

ROBBERY: Western District -- An undisclosed sum was taken Monday afternoon by a gunman who robbed Kim's grocery store in the 2400 block of W. Lexington St.
