AUTO THEFT: Southeastern District -- A Volkswagen parked in the first block of Washington St. was stolen between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday. The vehicle has not been recovered.

THEFT FROM AUTOTHEFT FROM AUTO: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a truck parked in the 700 block of S. Dean St. between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday and stole a box containing tools for working on drywall. The tools were valued at $535.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A boat docked at a marina in the 2100 block of Aliceanna St. was burglarized sometime between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Friday. A 13-inch color television, a 9-inch color television and a bag containing camera equipment were stolen. The total value of the stolen goods was not known.

ARMED ROBBERYARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man brandishing a handgun approached a 34-year-old woman in front of a store at the Northwood Shopping Center in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road about 9:10 a.m. Saturday and demanded money. She handed over $125 in cash and three personal checks valued at $125 before the man fled.

ARMED ROBBERYARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two unarmed men approached an 82-year-old man in the 5600 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Saturday about 11:30 a.m. and demanded he hand over his money. They escaped with $360 in cash, along with the man's credit cards and some personal papers.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A woman living in the 4600 block of Parkside Drive had her car and purse stolen as she pulled up in front of her house about 11 p.m. Friday. The 46-year-old victim was approached by a man between the ages of 20 and 25 as she pulled to the curb. He opened her car door and told her to move over and to give him all her money. The woman complied and got out of the car. The man escaped with the woman's car, her purse and cash.

AUTO THEFTAUTO THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 1986 Chevrolet was stolen at noon Saturday from the 1300 block of Pentwood Road after the owner left the keys in the car. The car was later recovered.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- Two men armed with handguns fired at a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old man who were sitting in a car in the 5500 block of Lothian St. at 1:26 a.m. yesterday. No one was injured.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into a home in the 3000 block of N. Charles St. at 3 a.m. yesterday. A video cassette recorder worth $200 was taken.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A burglar forced his way into a home in the 900 block of Exeter Hall yesterday at 1 a.m. and stole a video cassette recorder worth $350.

AUTO THEFTAUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 44-year-old woman from the 1600 block of Northbourne Road picked up a hitchhiker, who then stole her car when she pulled into a gas station in the 400 block of E. 25th St. about 11:40 p.m. Friday. The car has not been recovered.

AUTO THEFTAUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1986 Dodge Colt was stolen from the 3500 block of Newland Road on Friday sometime between 10 p.m. and midnight.

AUTO THEFTAUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1990 Honda Accord was stolen from the 5000 block of Spring Lake Way sometime between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a storage locker in the 1100 block of E. Belvedere Ave. sometime between 4 p.m. Friday and 10:15 a.m. Saturday and stole a stereo and turntable valued at $350.

AUTO THEFTAUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1990 Blue Mazda was stolen from the 10000 block of Falls Road sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

AUTO THEFTAUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1992 dark gray Honda with a Pennsylvania tag was stolen sometime between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday from the 2400 block of Brambleton Road.

AUTO DAMAGEDAUTO DAMAGED: Northern District -- Someone used an unknown tool to break the passenger vent window of a car parked in the unit block of Beechdale Road sometime between midnight and 9 a.m. Saturday and stole several items inside, including a cassette deck, a CD player, 70 ++ compact discs, a ski jacket, a backpack and a radar detector. The items were valued at $2,485.

ABREAK-IN: Northern District -- An intruder pried off a screen and entered a house in the 3200 block of N. Charles St. sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday and stole a clock radio and a typewriter. The items were valued at $300.

BICYCLE STOLENBICYCLE STOLEN: Northern District -- Someone pried a lock off a garage in the 3400 block of Guilford Terrace sometime between Sept. 19 and Saturday and stole a bicycle valued at $150.

GUN STOLENGUN STOLEN: Northern District -- An intruder broke into a house in the 900 block of Woodson Road and stole a gun valued at $600 from the top of the refrigerator.

AUTO THEFTAUTO THEFT: Northern District -- A 1988 Acura was stolen from the 2300 block of Sulgrave Ave. sometime between 1 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
