* S & H Investigative Services, a regional provider of investigation services, opened an office at 775 E. Maiden St. in Washington, Pa.


* Jan Ferguson Inc., an Annapolis-based provider of interior plants for commercial and residential environments, won contracts with the Maryland Aviation Administration at BWI Airport; Quebecor Printing Co.; Ralston Purina Co.; and Chartwell Country Club.

* Adams Sandler Inc., a public relations firm in Baltimore and Rockville, won a four-year community relations contract with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission for the Sligo Creek Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation & Hiker/Biker Trail project.
